  • The Restaurant General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.

    Core Responsibilities Include:

    • Creating value for our shareholders through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
    • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
      Controls profit & loss, by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
    • Effectively manage the restaurant within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times.
    • Manage on-going profitability of the Restaurant, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
    • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.
    • Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling manpower, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
    • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Restaurant’s annual
    • Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
    • Overseeing the operations, functions of the Restaurant and holding regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.
    • Ensure full compliance to Restaurant and bar operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
    • Interviews and hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes discipline action, motivates and trains
    • Ensures maintenance of facility, equipment and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program
    • Ensures food quality .
    • Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs
    • Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team
    • Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
