Job Description

  Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position is primarily responsible for Recruitment, Employment Relations and Performance Management processes, in alignment with the College Strategic Plan.

Partnering with the leadership teams, managers, employees and HR team, this role focuses on the hiring and performance management in the employee life cycle, supporting both academic and non academic staff, employment relations including the management of staff grievances and union management. This position will also play a key role in various HR change management projects that are currently underway. The successful incumbent will manage a team of four , across two campuses.

  • Manage recruitment including sourcing for candidates, conducting, arranging interview and hiring of candidates
  • Review and maintain the salary structure, align it internally and externally with the market benchmark
  • Maintain an updated copy of Employee’s Handbook
  • Review and maintain HR policies
  • Maintain employee records and perform HR reporting
  • Administer the payroll and audit check
  • Manage staff appraisal and salary review
  • Resolve grievance and disciplinary cases
